Phygital Design

Our UX-driven design approach, combined with our expertise in both physical and digital design, enables us to create holistic vehicle experiences. This includes:

  • Researching the desired user experience and how it translates into vehicle design

  • Defining, designing and prototyping layout, contents and technologies for smart interiors

  • 3D VR and XR models that allow to interact with the vehicle. These models can be used both during the design process , for customer testing or as presentation models.

  • Full prototyping of HMI systems and Smart Cabins

2D & 3D HMI Design

Our expertise and services in HMI Design encompass all stages of the process, from early concepting to delivering production-ready outcomes.

  • GS typically conducts design sprints to generate, test & validate UX concepts through a mix of brainstorm sessions, use cases creation, sketching, quick 3D modeling & prototyping. The outcome can include HMI layout ideas, new ways of interacting with the car, UX/UI ideas at the intersection between physical and digital, use of new technologies, styling opportunities related to digital design. All integrated in the overall vehicle design.

  • We combine UX fundamentals with design language explorations to design and protoype HMI Systems that are simple, compelling and coherent with your Brand values.

  • Our unique 3D design experience and deep know how of game engines allows us to create stunning multidimensional HMI Designs with enhanced interactivity.

  • In addition to regular digital prototyping, our expertise in DigiPHY enables us to possess a great set of competences in building the most challenging XR HMI prototypes.

Service Design

Our UX-driven design approach, combined with our expertise in mobility design, puts us in the perfect position to ideate and design mobility services. This includes:

  • We have an extensive database of user trends that we use to complete our project-specific researches. In this research we take a deeper look at both the user desires and the contextual needs.

  • We create enganging User Journey maps, both graphically or through real-life role-playing on our DigiPHY.

  • In this phase we organize and structure the contents and features of the interface, creating a hierarchical system that can be tested and optimized though the use of lo-fi digital prototypes. It will all result in a hierarchical system where all the information are nicely prioritized and organized for the user.
